Question : How do I book a flying day

Q:	When can I book Insured Flying Days on my Ground Cover+ policy?
A:	You can book Insured Flying Days at anytime using your Iphone, Smartphone, Tablet or PC. This is done through your FlyCovered account. If you buy and book an Insured Flying Day on the same day you intend to fly, cover will end at 23:59 Hours (Local Time At Your Address) the same day. Found In Ground Cover+
Q:	When can I book Insured Flying Days on my Pay-As-You-Fly policy?
A:	You can book Insured Flying Days 24 / 7 using your Smartphone, Tablet or PC. This is done through your FlyCovered account. If you book an Insured Flying Day on the same day you intended to fly, cover will end at 23:59 Hours (Local Time At Your Address) the same day. Found In On Demand
Q:	Do I receive a new Certificate of Insurance each time I book an Insured Flying Day?
A:	Yes you do. We issue a separate Certificate of Insurance for each period of insurance you book on your Ground Cover+ or On Demand policy. You are only covered for flight risks on the insured aircraft when you have booked an Insured Flying Day, through your FlyCovered account and received your Certificate of Insurance, confirming the date and times you are covered. Q:	Can I get covered immediately after accepting my quote?
A:	Yes you can. Instant cover is available on all of our policies. This is subject to you paying the full premium or the Direct Debit deposit by Credit or Debit card. If you have an Pay-As-You-Fly policy you will need to book an Insured Flying Day to have in-flight cover. Q:	If I have an Ground Cover+ or On Demand, can I book Insured Flying Days without an internet connection?
A:	Yes. Although this is an online insurance service we fully understand internet connections can be temperamental at times. If you are unable to get an internet connection, you can call our Customer Service Team on 0208 059 8542 lines are open 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. The team can access your account with your permission and book an Insured Flying Day for you. To do this they will request a selection of letters from your memorable word, they will never request the whole word. If you feel the area you will be booking Insured Flying Days from will not have any internet access, you can book days prior to arriving at the airport. Q:	How does a named pilot book an Insured Flying Day?
A:	Insured Flying Days have to be booked and purchased by the policyholder. This will change soon and all named pilots will be able to book Insured Flying Days. Found In Ground Cover+ On Demand
Q:	If I have a Ground Cover+ or On Demand policy and I forgot to book an Insured Flying Day on can I backdate cover?
A:	No, this is not possible. With an Ground Cover+ or On Demand policy you must book an Insured Flying Day before any flight to be covered for flight risk. No cover can be backdated. Found In Ground Cover+ On Demand
Q:	What is the minimum and maximum number of Insured Flying Days I can book on a Ground Cover+ policy?
A:	The minimum term is one day, if you purchase and book one day on the same day you need flight cover for, the cover will end at 23:59 Hours (Local Time At Your Address) the same day. The maximum term is the number of Insured Flying Days you have purchased and are available in your account. Found In Ground Cover+
Q:	When can I start booking my first Insured Flying Days?
A:	You can start booking Insured Flying Days when you have paid your premium, either in full or you have paid the deposit premium if you are paying by Direct Debit. You will then receive your welcome email with your FlyCovered account PIN. The email will have all the instructions on how to manage your account, including how to book Insured Flying Days and buy additional days when you need them. Found In On Demand

A:	We have developed FlyCovered so you can manage your account 24/7 online at a time that suits you. You can manage every aspect of your account online from adding or removing an aircraft or pilot to changing your personal details.
