A:We have developed FlyCovered so you can manage your account 24/7 online at a time that suits you. You can manage every aspect of your account online from adding or removing an aircraft or pilot to changing your personal details. You can also buy and book Insured Flying Days if you have an On Demand or Ground Cover+ policy.

Q:Can I change the deductible / excess on the insured aircraft after I have purchased my policy?
A:Yes you can. Changes to the aircraft can be made from your FlyCovered account. Log in to your account, select MANAGE MY POLICY, select Manage Aircraft, select Edit Existing Aircraft and follow the instructions. We will email updated documents. If you are changing the aircraft you must follow the add new aircraft process.

Q:Can I change the registration of the insured Aircraft?
A:Yes. As long as you are not changing the aircraft. If you are changing the aircraft you must follow the add new aircraft process. Changes to the registration mark can be made from your FlyCovered account. Log in to your account, select MANAGE MY POLICY, select Manage aircraft, select Edit Existing aircraft and follow the instructions. We will email you updated documents if you proceed with any changes.

Q:Can I change the sum insured for my public liability cover?
A:Yes. During the application process we offer you the minimum required liability cover. This is based on the aircraft's maximum takeoff weight, number of passenger seats and type of use. You can increase the liability cover up to £10,000,000 at that time or after you have purchased the policy. The change can be made through your FlyCovered account. Log in to your account, go to MANAGE MY POLICY, select Manage aircraft where you can select the required Public Liability cover.

Q:Can I add additional covers to my policy after I have taken it out?
A:Yes. You can add or remove additional covers from your FlyCovered account. Login to your account, select MANAGE MY POLICY. Select Manage Add-Ons. To select or remove the covers from your policy follow the instructions. The additional premium or any return premium will be shown before you proceed.

Q:Can I amend the details of the aircraft insured on my policy?
A:Yes you can, as long as you are not changing the aircraft. If you are changing the aircraft you must follow the add new aircraft process. To make changes to the aircraft, login to your FlyCovered account. Select MANAGE MY POLICY, select Manage Aircraft, select Edit Existing Aircraft and follow the instructions. If the change is acceptable we will advise you of any additional or return premium due. If you wish to make the change select Update Policy, we will then email new documents to you. Please check the documents are correct and show the requested changes.

Q:How do I remove an aircraft from my policy?
A:To remove a plane that you may have sold or no longer need insurance for is quite easy. Log into your FlyCovered account select MANAGE MY POLICY, select Manage aircraft, select Edit Existing Aircraft next to the aircraft you wish to remove, select Remove Aircraft at the foot of the page, a drop down will appear, type YES and select Proceed, we will show you any return premium due to you, select UPDATE policy to complete the change. The plane will no longer be insured at this stage. We will email you confirmation of the change with a new Schedule, please check the details are correct.

Q:Can I change the personal details in my FlyCovered account?
A:Yes no problem. Log into your FlyCovered account, go to MANAGE MY POLICY, you can then select the details you would like to update from the drop down. We will email you confirmation of any changes you make with updated documents.

Q:Can I add additional pilots to my FlyCovered policy?
A:Log in to your FlyCovered account, select MANAGE MY POLICY, select Manage Pilots, select Add New Pilot, enter the new pilots details, select Calculate Premium, if the pilot is acceptable we will provide the additional or return premium to make the change. If you would like to make the change select Update My policy. You will go through to the payment page, so have your payment card ready. When payment is received we will email you confirmation of the change with a new Schedule, please check the details are correct. When you book Insured Flying Days, the Certificate of Insurance will show the new pilots details, please check they are correct.

Q:How do I change the aircraft named on my policy?
A:This is quite easy. Log in to your FlyCovered account. Select MANAGE MY POLICY. Select Manage aircraft, select Get A Quote For A New Aircraft. Enter the new aircraft details, select Quote if the aircraft is acceptable we will provide you with a quotation to add the aircraft to the policy. If the aircraft is unacceptable to the insurers, you will be shown a screen showing the aircraft we are unable to insure, we advise you to re-enter the aircraft details just in case you have entered incorrect information. If the aircraft is acceptable and you wish to add it to your policy, select Update My Policy. You will go through to the payment page, please have your payment card ready if your not paying your premium by Direct Debit. When payment is received we will email you confirmation of the change with a new Schedule, please check the details are correct. When you book Insured Flying Days, the Certificate of Insurance will show the new aircraft details; please check they are correct.

Q:Can I add an aircraft to my policy?
A:Yes, no problem. Log into your account. Go to MANAGE MY POLICY. Select Manage aircraft, select Get A Quote For A New Aircraft, enter the new aircraft details, and select Quote. If the aircraft is acceptable we will show you the additional premium for the new aircraft, the daily rate for Insured Flying Days if you have a Ground Cover+ or On Demand policy and a selection of deductibles. To make the change please select your preferred premium option, complete the question set and select Update My policy. To ignore the change select Cancel. You will then go through to the payment page. When payment is received we will send you confirmation of the new aircraft. You will receive a new Schedule and Certificate of Insurance showing the new aircraft, please check the details on the documents are correct. If you have a Ground Cover+ or On Demand policy, we will send you a Schedule showing the new aircraft and the Insured Flying Days you have available to book for the aircraft.

Q:How do I change my Bank details?
A:Should you need to change the bank account that your Direct Debit is collected from, you can do this through your FlyCovered account. Log in to your account, Go to MANAGE MY POLICY, select Bank Details, select Edit, make and check the changes and select Update to complete the change.

Q:Can I change my home address?
A:Yes. This can be done through your FlyCovered account. Log in to your account, Go to MANAGE MY POLICY and select Change my address. Enter the new address details, select Change. We will email you confirmation of the change with a new Schedule, please check the new details are correct, if they are incorrect please go through the same process.

Q:How do I view or download copies of my documents?
A:You can do this from the welcome email or from your FlyCovered account. Log into your account and select MANAGE MY POLICY, select My Dashboard, your Schedules and Certificates are located here, click on any of the documents you would like to view or download. If you have a Ground Cover+ or On Demand policy, you can also click on any day you have booked to view the Schedule and Certificate for that day.

Q:How do I know the number of Ground Cover+ or On Demand Insured Flying Days I have available?
A:The number of Insured Flying Days you have available are always shown in your FlyCovered account. Log on and select FLIGHT PLANNER, they are shown in the bar above your calendar. They are also shown on your latest Certificate of Insurance and in the the My Documents section of Manage My Policy. If you need more days you can purchase them by selecting BUY DAYS.

Q:Can I change my home airport / airfield
A:Yes. This can be done through your FlyCovered account. Log in to your account, select MANAGE MY POLICY, select Edit Existing Aircraft and add the new Home Airport details, check the details are correct and select Accept Change. We will email you confirming the change with your updated documents, please check the documents are correct.

Q:Do you supply a Direct Debit payment Schedule?
A:Yes we do. When you purchase your policy you will receive a Direct Debit payment schedule in the welcome pack. You can also view the payment schedule in your FlyCovered account, select MANAGE MY POLICY and select Bank Information.

Q:How do I know the number of policy Days I have remaining on my Ground Cover+ or On Demand to use my Insured Flying Days?
A:The days remaining on your policy are always shown in your FlyCovered account. Log into your FlyCovered account and select FLIGHT PLANNER, you will find them in the bar above the calendar, along with the number of Insured Flying Days you have remaining in your account and the policy days you have remaining to use them. The remaining number of policy days and Insured Flying Days are also shown on your latest Certificate of Insurance and in the the My Documents section of Manage My Policy.

Q:When can I start booking my first Insured Flying Days?
A:You can start booking Insured Flying Days when you have paid your premium, either in full or you have paid the deposit premium if you are paying by Direct Debit. You will then receive your welcome email with your FlyCovered account PIN. The email will have all the instructions on how to manage your account, including how to book Insured Flying Days and buy additional days when you need them.

Q:Can I change the email address that my policy is linked with, after I have purchased a policy?
A:Yes, no problem. It's important that you always provide us with correct email address as this is where we send your documents to and make contact with you. Log in to your FlyCovered account, go to MANAGE MY POLICY and select Change My Email Address, enter the new email address details. PLEASE MAKE SURE THE EMAIL ADDRESS IS CORRECT, then select UPDATE, the email is now changed. We will send you confirmation of the change to the new email address; if it's not received in 15 minutes, please check your junk file, also check if the email address you entered is correct, if it's not, please follow the process again.

Q:What happens if my Direct Debit fails?
A:If your Direct Debit fails, the ability to book Insured Flying Days and amend your policy will be removed and your account will be suspended. You are able to log into your FlyCovered account at any time, to pay the outstanding amount. This will unlock your account, give you full access to all functions and allow the next Direct Debit to be processed. If the Direct Debit failure is due to a problem with your Direct Debit mandate, for example, the instruction has been cancelled or the account details provided are invalid, you will be asked to update your bank details when you log in. We reserve the right to charge an administration fee of £20 and remove the right to pay by direct debit, should you fail to make an agreed payment.

Q:How do I cancel booked Insured Flying Days on a Ground Cover+ or On Demand policy?
A:Log into your account. Go to FLIGHT PLANNER in the menu bar. The booked days you can cancel are shown in amber on the calendar. Click on the day you need to cancel, a booking box will appear, select cancel. You will need to enter your PIN to confirm the cancellation. The aircraft icon for that day will be removed, your insurance for that day is then cancelled and your FlyCovered account credited with that day. For your FlyCovered account to receive a credit for the cancelled day, you must cancel it before 23.59 Hours (GMT) the day before you intended to fly.

Q:What is the policy Wording?
A:This policy document along with your Schedule, Certificate of Insurance and any endorsements make up your policy. You should read these documents carefully and make sure that they meet your needs. It is important that: you check that the sections of coverage you have requested are included in this policy; you comply with your duties under each section and under this policy as a whole. You should regularly review your cover to ensure that it is adequate and continues to meet your needs. You can access your insurance documents through your FlyCovered account www.flycovered.com. To log into your account you will require your account password, your postcode and your email address.

Q:Can I have more than one FlyCovered policy?
A:Yes. You can have more than one FlyCovered policy but it must be on a different aircraft. You will need to set up a new FlyCovered account with a different email address to one registered to your existing FlyCovered account.

Q:How do I buy an Insured Flying Day?
A:Log into your FlyCovered account and go to BUY DAYS. When you buy an Insured Flying Day we will send you an updated Schedule, showing the Insured Flying Day you have added to your account. You can buy additional Insured Flying Days any time you need them during the policy period.

Q:What happens if I forget my FlyCovered account PIN?
A:We can send you a PIN reminder. At the booking page select Forgot PIN. We will send a PIN reminder to the email address linked to your FlyCovered account. If you haven't received the email after 5 minutes please check your spam or junk folder.

Q:What do I do if I forget my FlyCovered account password?
A:It happens don't worry. Select LOGIN from the MENU bar, at the login screen click Forgot Password, the reset screen will appear, enter the email linked to your FlyCovered account and your postcode, select Forgot Password. We will send you an email containing a link to reset your password; Click on the link and you will be directed to our password reset page, select and confirm a new password then select Password Reset, you will also need to enter your memorable word, you will then receive an email confirming the reset. For additional security the password link expires after 10 minutes. You will need to repeat the process if the change is not made in that time period.

Q:How do I buy additional Insured Flying Days?
A:Log into your FlyCovered account and go to BUY DAYS. You will be offered a selection of days to choose from. When you buy additional days we will send you an updated Schedule, showing the days you have added to your account. You can buy additional Insured Flying Days any time you need them during the policy period.

Q:If I add an additional pilot to my policy will they be able to use the Insured Flying Days on my account?
A:Yes they will, the new named pilot will be able to have flight cover when they have been accepted and added to the policy. They will not be covered until you have received a confirmation email from the administrator containing the new documents showing, the new pilots details. The named policyholder has to book the Insured Flying Days days through the FlyCovered account before any flight cover is in place.

Q:What happens if I book Insured Flying Days but I am unable to use them?
A:We know plans can change and have catered for that. You can cancel booked Insured Flying Days through your FlyCovered account. The Insured day(s) have to be cancelled before 23:59 Hours (GMT) the day before you intended to fly. The cancelled days will be credited to your FlyCovered account and there is no cost for doing this. If you do not cancel before 23:59 Hours (GMT) you will lose that Insured Flying Day.

Q:How do you inform me about my renewal?
A:We will email you 14 days before your policy renewal date with the details of your premium for the coming year. This is your renewal invitation. You must confirm renewal through your FlyCovered account, otherwise your cover will end on the renewal date and you will not be insured. If you pay your premium by monthly Direct Debit your policy will be automatically renewed unless you have opted out of auto renewal, and then you must renew your policy through your FlyCovered account. You must tell us about any change in the information you have previously provided to us, which happened before or during any period of insurance. When we are notified of a change, we will tell you whether we are able to accept the change and if the change will result in revised renewal terms. If you do not inform us about a change, it may affect any claim you make or could result in your insurance being invalid.

Q:How do I renew my FlyCovered policy?
A:You do this online through your FlyCovered account. We will email your renewal notice to the email address you have registered on your account, we will send this at least 14 days before your renewal date. The renewal notice will have your latest details and your new premium. Please check the details we have are correct at this time. For your protection if you pay by monthly Direct Debit your policy will be automatically renewed. If you'd prefer us not to renew your policy automatically, please let us know before your renewal date by contacting our Customer Services Team, they can be contacted on 0345 519 4678 lines are open 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. A:It happens don't worry. You have 2 options. Option 1. Select LOGIN from the menu bar, at the login screen click Forgotten Or Change Password (the security processes are linked and you will be able to change your memorable word from here) the reset screen will appear, enter the email linked to your FlyCovered account and your postcode, select FORGOT PASSWORD. We will send you an email containing a link to reset your password; click on the link and you will be directed to our password reset page, enter your existing account password and confirm (you can change the password at this time as well if you wish) go to memorable Word select your new memorable word and hint, select Password Reset. You will receive an email confirming the reset. Option 2. You can contact our Customer Services Team and they can send a reset email to the email address linked to your FlyCovered account. For additional security the password link expires after 10 minutes. You will need to repeat the process if the change is not made in that time period.

Q:How do I book Insured Flying Days on a Ground Cover+ or On Demand policy?
A:You book them through your Ground Cover+ or On Demand account. Log into your account, go to FLIGHT PLANNER. The days you can book are shown in green on the calendar. Click on the day you need flight cover for, a booking screen will appear, enter your PIN and select BOOK to confirm the booking. When you have booked Insured Flying Days you will receive a Certificate of Insurance by email; this will confirm the aircraft, time and date you are insured to fly your aircraft. An aircraft icon will be shown on the days you have booked. If you need to insure consecutive days repeat the process.

Q:What are Free Insured Flying Days and how do they work on a Ground Cover+ or On Demand policy?
A:Free Insured Flying Days are part of our Price Cap. If your premium spend including the purchase of any Insured Flying Days, equals or is more than the Frequent Flyer annual premium we quoted you when you purchased your Ground Cover+ or On Demand policy, we automatically credit your FlyCovered account with FREE Insured Flying Days until your policy renews. You will still need to book Insured Flying Days through your Ground Cover+ or On Demand account but you won't be charged for these days.

Q:Do I need to inform you if I make any changes to the insured aircraft?
A:We ask you to inform us if any changes you make to the insured aircraft change the value, seat, Maximum Takeoff Weight (MTOW) or registration. You can do this in your FlyCovered account.

Q:My Direct Debit has failed what do I need to do.
A:We will send you an email informing you that your Direct Debit has failed, we will represent it to your bank, should it fail again we will issue a 7 day cancellation notice. You can contact the customer services and pay any outstanding amount to avoid the cancellation process proceeding. They can be contacted on 0345 519 4678 lines are open 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Q:Can I choose a different PIN number after I have purchased a policy?
A:Sorry no. We ask you to keep the same PIN number you were allocated when you purchased your policy. If you forget your PIN we can send you a PIN reminder. From the Booking Page select - 'Forgot PIN' we will send a reminder to the email address linked to your account. You will receive the reminder in a couple of seconds.

A:You can buy as many Insured Flying Days as you wish. We will inform you of the daily rate when you purchase your policy. If you purchase 30 days your account will be credited with unlimited Insured Flying Days until your renewal date.

Q:What are Insured Flying Days?
A:Insured Flying Days are the days or day when the aircraft is covered for flight risk. These days must all be selected and booked through your FlyCovered account, before you are insured for flight risks. 7 Insured Flying Days are included in your On Demand premium, you can purchase additional days at anytime. With a Ground Cover+ policy, you purchase a single day when you need it.

Q:If I have a FlyCovered Ground Cover+ or On Demand, how much will additional flight days cost me?
A:The premium for each Insured Flying Day is calculated at a daily rate and is linked to your risk. The daily premiums will be provided with your quote and are always shown in your FlyCovered account. With a Ground Cover+ policy the daily premiums reduce as you buy additional days.
