Question : what is the premium to add a pilot

Q:	Can I add additional pilots to my FlyCovered policy?
A:	Log in to your FlyCovered account, select MANAGE MY POLICY, select Manage Pilots, select Add New Pilot, enter the new pilots details, select Calculate Premium, if the pilot is acceptable we will provide the additional or return premium to make the change. If you would like to make the change select Update My Policy. You will go through to the payment page, so have your payment card ready. When payment is received we will email you confirmation of the change with a new Schedule, please check the details are correct. When you book Insured Flying Days, the Certificate of Insurance will show the new pilots details, please check they are correct. Found In Ground Cover+ On Demand Frequent Flyer
Q:	Does the policy cover aerobatics?
A:	This is an additional option that can be added to the policy. This additional policy option provides coverage during the policy period for flights in the insured aircraft undertaken by the insured pilot for the purpose of non-competitive aerobatics. Cover is subject to national and / or international air regulations. The pilot must hold the appropriate aerobatic licence rating for the aircraft and have received the appropriate training required to perform aerobatic manoeuvres. Full details including any conditions and exclusions, are available in the policy wording. This is a single premium payment to add cover to the full term or any remaining term of the policy. Q:	Can a named pilot book a day?
A:	Not at the moment, this facility will be available soon. The person named as the insured on the Schedule has control of the aircraft flight planner. Found In Ground Cover+ On Demand
Q:	When do I pay my insurance premium?
A:	This is an online facility and you pay at the end of the application process. You can select monthly Direct Debit or pay the premium in full with a Credit or Debit card. Found In Ground Cover+ On Demand Frequent Flyer
Q:	Whats Insurance Premium Tax or IPT?
A:	Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) is a tax on general insurance premiums. The IPT to be paid on the premium is determined by the country of registration of the aircraft. The physical location of the aircraft is irrelevant, e.g. an aircraft that is registered in the UK but based in France is located in the UK and pays UK Tax. Commercial aircraft is exempt from IPT. Q:	Do you have a minimum hours requirement for pilots.
A:	No, all pilots must hold a valid pilots licence (NPPL, LAPL, PPL, CPL or ATPL) with the correct ratings, certificates and privileges for the aircraft being insured. They must hold a valid medical certificate or self-medical declaration for the licence and ratings held. We do not cover ab-initio training. Q:	If I make a change or cancel my policy and it lowers the premium do I receive a refund?
A:	Yes. If you make a change to your policy and it lowers the premium you will receive a return premium. If you cancel your policy we refund the premium less a £25 administration fee. You can view the full policy cancellation terms in the FlyCovered policy wordings. They are available on the FlyCovered website in the Our Policies section of the menu under Compare Policies. The policy wording relating to the FlyCovered policy you have selected and purchased will also be available in your welcome pack when you purchase a policy. Q:	Can I Cancel a FlyCovered policy at anytime and will I receive a return premium?
A:	You can cancel any FlyCovered policy at anytime by notifying the administrator. If you cancel your policy before the start date, the premium paid by you will be returned in full. If you cancel during or after the cooling off period, the return premium due to you will be calculated at a proportional daily rate, depending on the number of remaining policy days you have. If you are cancelling after a renewal, we will not return any premium for Insured Flying Days rolled over from an expiring policy. If you have made a claim the full premium is due. Q:	What is the Price Cap or premium guarantee and how does it work?
A:	If you choose a Ground Cover+ or On Demand policy but fly more than you expected, we guarantee that you won't pay any more than the Frequent Flyer annual premium we offered you, when you purchased your Ground Cover+ or On Demand policy. Our system keeps a record of your Ground Cover+ or On Demand premium and any additional Insured Flying Days you purchase. If your total premium spend equals the Frequent Flyer annual premium we quoted you when you purchased your Ground Cover+ or On Demand policy, we automatically credit your FlyCovered account with FREE Insured Flying Days until your renewal. You will still need to book Insured Flying Days through your Ground Cover+ or On Demand account but you won't be charged for these days. Found In Ground Cover+ On Demand
Q:	What is Pilot's' Personal Accident Cover?
A:	This additional option provides up to £10,000 of cover to each pilot insured under the policy if they sustain physical injury caused by an aviation incident when they are piloting the aircraft. In addition this option also includes £1,500 each insured person for each aviation incident in respect of medical and related expenses.
