A:Sorry no. We ask you to keep the same PIN number you were allocated when you purchased your policy. If you forget your PIN we can send you a PIN reminder. From the Booking Page select - 'Forgot PIN' we will send a reminder to the email address linked to your account. You will receive the reminder in a couple of seconds.

Q:How do I know the number of policy days I have remaining on my Pay As You Fly+ policy to use my Insured Flying Days?
A:The days remaining on your policy are always shown in your FlyCovered account. Log into your FlyCovered account and select FLIGHT PLANNER. You will find them in the bar above the calendar, along with the number of Insured Flying Days you have remaining in your account and the policy days you have remaining to use them. The remaining number of policy days and Insured Flying Days are also shown on your latest Certificate of Insurance and in the the My Documents section of Manage My Policy.

Q:How do I know the number of Insured Flying Days I have available on my Pay As You Fly+ policy?
A:The number of Insured Flying Days you have available are always shown in your FlyCovered account. Log on and select FLIGHT PLANNER, they are shown in the bar above your calendar. They are also shown on your latest Certificate of Insurance and in the the My Documents section of Manage My Policy. If you need more days you can purchase them by selecting BUY DAYS.

Q:What is the minimum and maximum number of Insured Flying Days I can book on an Pay As You Fly+ policy?
A:The minimum term is one day, cover will end at 23:59 Hours (Local Time At Your Address) on the booked day. The maximum term is the number of Insured Flying Days you have available on your account. If you book a period of continuous days, cover will end at 23:59 Hours (Local Time At Your Address) on the last day. Should you book one day on the same day you need flight cover for, cover will end at 23:59 Hours (Local Time At Your Address) the same day.

Q:How many drones can I insure on a FlyCovered policy?
A:We can quote on and cover a maximum of 10 drones on one policy.

Q:Can I have more than one drone in the air at anytime?
A:Yes but you need to have informed us of the maximum number of drones that will be in the air at one time during the application process. You should have also selected UAS Operators Indemnity to be added to your policy. This covers the third party liabilities of any qualified pilot authorised by you to operate the insured drone. This cover is required should you need to have additional pilots operating your drones.

Q:When I purchase a Pay As You Fly policy with more than 1 drone on the policy are 30 days allocated to each drone.
A:No. The 30 days are allocated to the policy. You can fly one or all of the insured drones on the booked insured flying day upto the maximum number in the air at one time selected in the application process.

Any log books, or other records in connection with the aircraft, pilots and the insured flight. Proof of valid qualifications you hold. Any police crime reference number following a theft or malicious damage to any aircraft or equipment. Following any claim: Do not make any admission of liability, offer, or promise payment without written consent from the loss adjuster. Contact the police immediately regarding any theft or malicious damage. Do not act in any way to the detriment of or prejudice the interest of your insurers. Inform the loss adjuster immediately of any letters or documents relating to the claim; or notice of any impending prosecution or civil action you may receive. Do not agree to any replacement or repair of items without written agreement from the loss adjuster. The loss adjuster or the insurer reserves the right to request additional documentation or information as required. Note: To avoid any delays or issues with your claim, please ensure you provide any requested information and supporting documents. Q:I have more than one drone insured on my policy, can I fly all of the drones on the same day?
A:Yes you can. PLEASE NOTE If you have stated on your application that only one drone is in the air at anytime you can only fly one drone at a time. If you need to fly more than one insured drone at the same time, this should have been declared during the application process or you need to notify us that you need cover for more than one drone in the air at the same time. The number of drones you are covered to fly at one time is shown on your insurance schedule.

Q:Do I receive a new Insurance Schedule when I buy additional Insured Flying Days?
A:We issue a new Schedule showing both the additional and the total number of Insured Flying Days you have available, and the policy days you have remaining to use them.

Q:What is a Policy Schedule and when do I receive it?
A:This is the document that the administrator sends you by email when you purchase this policy. It includes but is not limited to your details, the premium paid, the insured drone, and the sections of cover applicable to your policy. If you have a Pay As You Fly+ it will show the total number of Insured Flying Days available at the time of purchase. A revised Schedule will only be issued when there are variations to the terms and conditions of this policy and should you purchase any additional Insured Flying Days.

Q:Do you charge a fee if I make changes to my policy?
A:We will not charge you an administration fee when you make any mid term adjustments to your policy, that may or may not create an additional premium, unless you make more than 20 changes in any policy year. We then reserve the right to charge you £15 for any additional changes above that number. Should you or the insurer cancel your policy during or after the cooling off period we will charge you a £25 cancellation fee. We reserve the right to charge an administration fee of £20 and remove the right to pay by Direct Debit, should you fail to make an agreed payment.

Q:I have just renewed my policy and I can't book a day.
A:Ok you may be using the wrong account. If you have renewed your policy early IE prior to the renewal date please use your old account until the renewal date. Log in with your old policy number until your renewal date. After your renewal date use the new policy details.

Q:I have a Pay As You Fly+ policy, am I restricted to the number of hours I can fly on an Insured Flying Day?
A:No not at all. You can fly as many hours as you wish on any Insured Flying Days you have booked, up until 23:59 Hours (Local Time At Your Address) the same day. If you have booked consecutive days you are covered until 23:59 Hours (Local Time At Your Address) on the last day.

Q:Can I cover hired in equipment?
A:Yes.When you hire in any equipment you add them to the policy through your online account and remove them when you have finished the hire. You don't want them on the policy and paying for them for the full term when you don't have use of them. Log into your account Go to manage my policy Add Drone (you will need the value and serial number) You will be quoted for the remaining term of the policy pay this amount. ( If you need a daily rate divide this premium by the remaining days on the policy. You will receive a return premium when the hired in equipment is removed. You must have a hiring agreement with the owner of the drone

Q:I need more in-flight cover how do I buy additional Insured Flying Days?
A:You can buy these through your FlyCovered account and it only takes a couple of minutes. Log into your account and select Buy Days. Select the number of days you wish to buy and proceed to payment. When you need buy additional Insured Flying Days we ask you to pay for them in full at the time of purchase by Credit or Debit card. If you are paying by Direct Debit, Insured Flying Days can not be added to the instalment plan and have to be paid by Credit or Debit card.

Q:Can I cancel a FlyCovered policy at anytime and will I receive a return premium?
A:You can cancel any FlyCovered policy at anytime by notifying the administrator. If you cancel your policy before the start date, the premium paid by you will be returned in full. If you cancel during or after the cooling off period, the return premium due to you will be calculated at a proportional daily rate, depending on the number of policy days you have remaining. If you are cancelling after a renewal, we will not return any premium for Insured Flying Days rolled over from an expiring Pay As You Fly+ policy. If you have made a claim the full premium is due. Cancellation after the policy start or renewal date is subject to a £25 administration fee. Full cancellation terms are available in the policy wording and our Terms of Business and Conditions.
